That's an example of how a remote MCP server configuration looks like.

Stripe hosts a Streamable HTTP MCP server that’s available at https://mcp.stripe.com. The Stripe MCP server uses OAuth Dynamic Client Registration to connect MCP clients as per the MCP spec.

Both examples exercise MCP agent workflows where the MCP server is addressed remotely.

When using the --path option, it is possible to provide the endpoint on a non-default path, like the Stripe MCP server above.
