Use URLs from repositories configuration to clone repos automatically

Hello, I'm wondering if it would be possible to clone the repositories automatically, instead of just searching them locally as it's currently done here.

I would be happy to implement this new feature. I am also very curious to why it wasn't initially developed to do the cloning automatically. Is it for security reasons? It would be very helpful if someone could explain it. Thank you.

I don't object to the feature, I just don't really think it's going to be very useful. In my case I already have a script to set up the environment either locally or in the CI, but if you think it will be useful for you to do such env set up in xprin itself feel free to work on that
