Compatibility improvements (#17)

* Use `preRun` instead of `preInit` for compatibility with newer emscripten builds
* Use swc to transpile to es2015 compatible JavaScript

Leads to less problems with downstream bundlers trying to transpile or
polyfill "newer" features.

* Update shell-quote (patch) and build tools
