Missing send_signal_to_gdb() and interrupt_gdb() of GdbController

The documentation shows two methods on objects of class GdbController which are not supported:

response = gdbmi.send_signal_to_gdb('SIGKILL')  # name of signal is okay
response = gdbmi.interrupt_gdb()  # sends SIGINT to gdb

There appear to be no equivalent methods available.

I was able to fix this issue by using os.kill() to send a signal to the pid of the GDB controller.
os.kill(gdbmi.gdb_process.pid, signal.SIGINT)

Does anyone have an idea, whether it is better to

• (option A) Fix the documentation (means: remove examples for interrupt_gdb() and send_signal_to_gdb('SIGKILL')) or
• (option B) Add the mentioned functions?
