Does not work for me. I do CTRL-C on a square of cells in Excel, and SHIFT-ALT-V in .md file in Visual Studio Code after the plugin has been installed, does not produce the copied content, but the following empty table, regardless how big is the square I select:

Yes, I have created in Visual Studio Code a file called README.md and saved it. Then copied and pasted via CTRL-C and SHIFT-ALT-V the content of a 2x2 cells from an Excel workbook (opened outside Visual Studio Code). The pasted result is show above.

I am using:

  • Visual Studio Code 1.57.1
  • Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2411 Build 16.0.18227.20082) 64-bit
  • Windows 11 Enterprise 23H2 22631.4751
