I'll start. I'm Chris Torrence. By day, I'm a lead software engineer at NV5 Geospatial. I'm the lead developer for IDL, the Interactive Data Language. It's a programming language (similar to Python or Matlab) that's used by scientists and engineers around the world. NASA is one of our biggest customers. In my spare time, I'm involved in all sorts of retro computer projects, including the Nox Archaist game, KansasFest, and my own retro computer store. I started Apple2TS mainly to teach myself TypeScript, and I also wanted to discover how hard it was to write an emulator. But now the project has taken on a life of its own, with hundreds of commits and multiple contributors, including major contributions by Lawrence Sanchez (@boredsenseless) and Mike Morrison (@code-bythepound). |
