Project status ?

Hi,

Sorry for opening an issue for this, but discussions are not enabled on this project.

What is the current status for this library? I am looking into switching to TUS for our RN app and I am wondering if this library is still up-to-date / supported, or if I should use another solution.

I saw that TUSKit got a v3 released, I assume this library is not compatible with it yet?

Hey,

this library hasn't been maintained in a while and I think a lot of stuff can be written cleaner, especially in the light of TUSKit v3 - which is, as you rightfully assumed, not compatible yet.

I see a demand for TUS react native with native capabilities (like background uploading), but currently, I am not using it in any project.
I am willing to commit some time to clean up and improve this project, but I will probably move it over to my personal GitHub.

However, If someone else is eager to take over just let me know 😊 ✌️

My app does a lot of uploads and my current "simple" fetch-based implementation is really not efficient / stable enough, and I am really interested in switching to a better protocol and battle-tested library.

I am not familiar with TUS (except reading the docs for now) and the native side of RN. If you have a todo list, I can have a look and see where I could help you.
