Dwell Time Calculations

Has anyone adapted (or considered adapting) the firmware to give dwell time counts?
By this I just mean giving counts of devices for certain timeframes. (E.g. 10 devices have been here for 1 minute, 2 devices have been here for 5 minutes, 1 devices has been here for 10 minutes)
