Closed JIRA issues still on Dashboard?

Hi there!

Closing out JIRA issues, in JIRA, for issues that are tagged in the Dashboard still show up along with open issues.

Is there a way closed JIRA issues can not show up anymore in the Dashboard or this just a bug?
