Test retries don't work in run mode

I read the reference documentation in test-retries. The run mode doesn't retry any test after fail. In open mode it's OK. Example:

  it('[test] Reset Data', {retries: 2}, function() {
      this.data.context = "TRANSACTION"
      cy.reset_data(this.data).then( () => {
        this.data.status_code = StatusCodes.UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY
      })
  })

Please, what am I doing wrong?

1. Can you try to specify it in cypress config file to see if it works?
2. Can you try to change {retries: 2} to { retries: { runMode: 2, openMode: 2, }, in the test block to see if it works?
