How to do Network test for "internal" call originated from included java script lib file https://neremor.homelinux.org/azde/atl-demowebsite/

Use case:

• track an app with Adobe Tracking Library: https://neremor.homelinux.org/azde/atl-demowebsite/
• we do not have control over the tracking library and cannot change it
• requests are sent to '**/b/ss/*', after clicking a button
• but cypress cannot register the call somehow

Current test code

What we tried so far

Btw. we are testing it inside SPA-angular app. We have already successfully implemented it for several more "simple" async http requests in angular app.
And I am already familiar with how it should be done from the example test code in network_requests.spec.js. Also tried some of them, but none of them seem to work. What we tried so far:

• cy.route().as(@get) + cy.wait('@get')
• checkResponse after clicking a button

Nice to know

• as you may have checked out the source code of the website: https://neremor.homelinux.org/azde/atl-demowebsite/, may have to open the site in cognito mode, because of cors policy
• the demo site is built from
  • tracking-lib.js: methods free to use inside angular app, imported in index.html
  • atl-config.js:
  • calls via a method, e.g. track(event); , and then the track method in tracking-lib gets called inside tracking-lib.js

turns out it is actually a request to return script, not a xhr request ;) #5047 (comment)
