I’d like to propose the development of an official Cypress MCP (Model Context Protocol) server to enable AI agents to:
- Access and reason over Cypress documentation in a structured way
- Programmatically control the browser and Cypress test runner
- Generate, execute, debug, and refine Cypress tests autonomously or semi-autonomously
With the rapid adoption of AI coding agents, an official MCP would make Cypress a first-class citizen in AI-assisted testing workflows.
