Description
Summary
Add DroneCAN ESC Status telemetry support to broadcast motor/ESC health and performance data.
Findings
Investigation of DroneCAN message roadmap identified ESC Status as a HIGH priority feature. This would enable:
- Real-time ESC health monitoring
- Temperature and voltage telemetry
- RPM/load information
- Fault detection and diagnostics
Implementation
Requires:
- DroneCAN UAVCAN message support (uavcan.equipment.esc.Status)
- INAV motor/ESC driver integration
- Telemetry aggregation from ESC hardware
Priority
HIGH - Roadmap priority estimated 8-12 hours
