Summary

Add DroneCAN ESC Status telemetry support to broadcast motor/ESC health and performance data.

Findings

Investigation of DroneCAN message roadmap identified ESC Status as a HIGH priority feature. This would enable:

  • Real-time ESC health monitoring
  • Temperature and voltage telemetry
  • RPM/load information
  • Fault detection and diagnostics

Implementation

Requires:

  1. DroneCAN UAVCAN message support (uavcan.equipment.esc.Status)
  2. INAV motor/ESC driver integration
  3. Telemetry aggregation from ESC hardware

Priority

HIGH - Roadmap priority estimated 8-12 hours
