The Gas Town Project

You guys should check out this project called Gas Town.

It's kind of like PAI, but for agent orchestration.

So many builders are working on like 10 core ideas, and it's really exciting right now.

Here's what I think the main ideas are taking us towards.

I have been following Steve and his work. I read his book Vibe Coding and I have followed Gas Town but not tried to set it up yet. I am focused on getting pai up and running first...You guys are both ahead of the curve and working on some phenomenal ideas. It is always rough in the begining but please stick with this. I am in hour 4 of trying to get pai 2.3 running on my desktop. I am getting closer. Will share a large "troubleshooting.md" file if I can get it across the finish line.

Gas Town (Steve Yegge's project) is great — worth following. The overlap with PAI is real: both are thinking about agent orchestration infrastructure. PAI's approach is Claude Code-native and personal-first, while Gas Town is broader orchestration. Good reference for where this space is heading.
