Set picker-selected date to input "onfocusout"?

Hi,
Is it possible to use the owl-date-time picker and to set the input field value to the selected date when the onfocusout event is triggered (by clicking outside the picker popup)?

I want it to behave the same way when selecting a date and clicking outside the picker popup as when clicking the set button.
