Cannot run any satellite

Hello all,
i would like to know if there is someone that can help me.
I am usng UBUNTU and since i have installe Conda i cannot run any satellites in the terminal.
When i give the command:

gr_satellites "Satellite Name" --udp --samp_rate 48e3

i get the error:

Satellite "Satellite Name" not found

This happens on whichever satellite i try and it happens either if i have Conda activatrd or deactivated.
Please where am i missing?

Well, "Satellite Name" is none of the satellites supported by gr-satellites. It is a placeholder name to be replaced by the name of a particular satellite. Try that instead. For instance, gr_satellites funcube-1 --udp --samp_rate 48e3.

Thanks for the reply.
The "Satellite Name" means AO-73 or LO-74 or CUBEBEL-2 or Crocube or any other satellite.
BTW giving the above command you've suggested in the terminal, i do not get anything.
I mean i do not get any response and do not know if it is normal but i remember that i had something.
I have also tried with the command:

gr_satellites CROCUBE --udp --samp_rate 48e3

and get the error:

Satellite CROCUBE not found

Please what am i doing wrong?

CROCUBE is not one of the satellites supported by gr-satellites. The list of supported satellites is here.

gr_satellites satellite: error: argument --samp_rate: invalid float value: '48e3

You don't say how you called gr_satellites when you got this error, but note that there is an apostrophe (') before 48e3 in the error message that you got, so it is possible that you have stray characters in your command line call.

so i need to install the 3.10 version?
I have tried, but i cannot install the gr-lilacsat package as it is not updated to this version, so i cannot decode the ASRTU-1 satellite. For this i had to install Conda but installing Conda i cannot run any satellites.
Please what you suggest me to do?

The gr-satellites versions v4.* and v3.* which run under GNU Radio 3.9 and GNU Radio 3.8 respectively are no longer actively maintained. My suggestion is that you install the latest gr-satellites version (v5.8.0), which requires GNU Radio 3.10. If you need a GNU Radio 3.8 environment to run the ASRTU-1 decoder from HIT, you should install that completely separately.

I have already explained to you how to check which satellites are supported in a given gr-satellites version. You should go and check if ASRTU-1 (or any other satellite you intend to decode) is supported in your version. You haven't even said what gr-satellites version you are running, but we have already established that it is not the latest. So I cannot even check for you whether your version supports ASRTU-1. By the looks of the error message, the answer is most likely "no". Probably your version is too old to support ASRTU-1.
