Wysiwygit is an implementation of the popular CKEditor browser-based text 
editor.  Wysiwygit allows users to edit web-page content in place.  Wysiwygit 
can be installed without any changes to existing web pages.  

Features

    Includes all current styling in editing window – what you edit is what you 
    get!

    User can select portions of a page to edit (divs).

    Upload images and other files to directories that the user can choose.

    Specify "off-limits" directories.

    Backup/restore -- older versions of all site pages are saved, and can be 
    restored by users.

    Create users - regular and administrative. Administrative users can create 
    and delete user accounts.

    Specify ids and/or classes of divs that cannot be edited by users.
