RAG without uploading a file (2)

Hi Danny,
I know that you answered this question before and that this feature will come in a future update (#2894). The problem is that I need this urgently and I need that all requests are routed through the RAG. Is there a work around for me to use right away while waiting for your solution?
I thought about always upload a dummy file at start, because I noticed that once I ask a question with an attached file, all subsequent calls are routed through the RAG even if there is no file attachment. Thanks
