Read Aloud button does not work on Chrome

What happened?

On v0.7.4 the read aloud button stops working. You can start a conversation and click on the "read aloud" button and nothing is listened. I verified on v0.7.3 works and on v0.7.5-rc2 persists the issue.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Select a model
2. Ask a question
3. Click on "read aloud" icon/button

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Not enough information to reproduce, I've tried all TTS options and the read aloud button is playing audio for all of them (browser/edge/external)

interesting, I decided to try on the demo librechat https://librechat-librechat.hf.space/ as well. Watching the console logs show 'Selected voice not found'. That message I don't see on my instance but still the read aloud does not work.

I have the same on v0.7.8, using Chrome on Ubuntu, when looking in the settings, the "voice" dropdown is empty:

So it looks like it can't fetch the available voices from the browser.

The browser voices are dependent on the browser you are using, possibly unavailable on Chrome using Ubuntu? Check browser console and network tabs.

@danny-avila Yeah I think you're right, it looks like it doesn't have any TTS by default, you can install it through extensions. It does come with STT by default.
