Option to expand the chat column. code-snippets need to be sidescrolled

It would be nice to have a toggle in the settings to allow the chat to fit to view instead of being limited to a column in the middle of the window.
This would especially be nice for code snippets in the response which currently require side-scrolling even if the window is wide enough to support the full-width of the code block.

Potentially just have it expand only for code-snippets or sections with fixed-length lines to fit at least the length of the longest line.
