End of my batch of feature requests from my first week using LibreChat as my main day-to-day frontend (I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around the idea that an open source project, which can be self-hosted, is proving more effective than the platforms of commercial AI tools!)
Currently the version is provided in the footer with a link to the home page of the LibreChat website:
What would be very helpful in addition would be a simple version check that notifies the user if they're using an outdated version.
Ie, something like. "You're using 0.6.1. 0.6.2 has been released." You could then link off to a section of the documentation describing how to manually update docker containers or how to deploy watchtower to a docker network for automatic updating.
Again, happy to support the documentation on this one if it would be of interest as a feature. I just need to read the contributory docs to see if I can figure out how to do that.
Thanks for the great tool!
