STT prompt seems to try generate audio response but it fails

What happened?

While debugging another issue in #5304 I noticed that after I send a message, the "play out load" icon is spinning indicating that a response is being generated. Id expect it to be played out loud, but instead it just silently fails.

In the log there is some error message about processing audio stream updates

Steps to Reproduce

1. send STT message
2. notice spinning icon in the "read our loud icon"
3. if you click again, it again spin and "regenerate" the speech of reply
