Enhancement: show/hide/filter controls for messages in message tree

What features would you like to see added?

Some discussions become too long and too wieldy - but still contain greatly useful parts. It would be great to be able to hide/show each message.

Maybe the solution is as simple as implementing something like https://github.com/brimdata/react-arborist on the message tree?

Bonus points for allowing export of 'pruned' tree as a new convo json.
