Cannot get Deepseek model to appear in the model selections

I have:

• modified the docker-compose.override.yml file according to this guide: https://www.librechat.ai/docs/configuration/librechat_yaml/setup

    target: /app/librechat.yaml`
• created the librechat.yaml file from the librechat.example.yaml file and left everything as in the example file but added the deepseek configuration according to this guide https://www.librechat.ai/docs/configuration/librechat_yaml/ai_endpoints/deepseek
• modified the .env file to edit the ENDPOINT section to display openAI, Anthropic and Deepseek, however the latter is never displayed ENDPOINTS=openAI,anthropic,Deepseek
• done docker compose restart, but Deepseek does not show up in the menu to be selected
• Same issue happens with the other custom endpoints that are by default part of the librechat.example.yaml file and I have not touched

No idea what I could be doing wrong, any help would be very welcome.

Tried, still nothing unfortunately. For safety I have also done docker compose down and up, but the issue persists. Thanks for getting back so quickly btw.

It’s likely a configuration issue, what do your startup logs say? Check the logs directory at project root

It was indeed. There were no logs of the issue itself, however there was an issue in my configuration of the docker-compose.override file.

Basically I use LibreChat only for myself, hosted on a VPS, and only accessible on a Tailscale IP address. To do that, I configure the IP directly in the ports configuration of the docker-compose.yml file, but somehow, when I move that to the override file it just won't be able to bind to the port (probably just a stupid mistake, I am an amateour).

However long story short, I moved everything back to the docker-compose.yml file, including the librechat.yaml setting, and now everything works as expected.
