[Question]: Cannot get Google Search plugin to work

I have installed and enabled the Google Search plugin and then added my credentials to the .env file (according to this guide). When I attempt to use the plugin, I get the following error:

For testing, I tried running the following to see if it was an issue with the credentials:

But it seems to work fine with the above code so it must be something set wrong (or a bug) with LibreChat.

I encountered the same issue today and am looking for a solution.

Have you tried adding gptPlugins in ENPOINTS in .env.

@sourabhrajwade I added to my .env and it made no difference. Furthermore, it seems like the following is the default anyway:

ENDPOINTS=openAI,assistants,azureOpenAI,bingAI,google,gptPlugins,anthropic

I have the same issue, tried everything. Mutiple models azure & openai. The search just doesn't work.
Any help would be great.

It seems like it has been moved to Agent section, but I did not find any info for activating it: https://www.librechat.ai/docs/features/agents

managed to get it working;

These lines in librechat.yaml made it work

I haven't seen includedTools: ["google"] mentioned anywhere and I have the agents config exactly as you've shown.
I wonder if that's what's missing in my config. Really appreciate you sharing!
