Understood I reported this request before and it was converted to a discussion, but I strongly think this is a needed feature, here are my thoughts and share some experience I have had:

• By design, the source of truth for the data (prompts/responses) live in Mongo, Meilisearch is a secondary data source allowing user to search their conversations/messages, so I don't think sync should be a mandatory thing, understood we can disable search entirely as of today.
• I am running librechat in a k8s env where there are multiple pods starting up when there is a scaling up event via HPA, since there is no locking mechanism for indexSync, all new pods are trying the same sync process at the same time, causing race conditions and hence sometimes causing librechat nodejs server memory leakage and crash all pods which lead into an infinite pod delete/re-create process, this doesn't matter if u only have a few thousand records, but we have reached ~million in scale in terms of number of convos/messages
• My solution/workaround so far has been running a cronjob to periodically to sync them and use beefy pods to run librechat so there is no scaling event, but this is not sustainable in the long run.

You can disable search, which essentially prevents indexSync from running:

I moved this to a feature request/suggestion, as an option to still enable search and prevent the indexSync is not yet implemented but could be.

I understand the need in a multi-pod/node environment.
