Login redirects back to login screen with 2fa enabled

When 2fa is enabled once my email, password and totp is entered and I hit enter it doesn't actually login. Instead just returns to the login page. In addition upon checking the log it states that the login was successful.

I feel like I am likely missing a setting to resolve this but any insight would be appreciated. If determined to be a bug I will follow through with opening an issue for a bug.

@Zadeis can you please make a screen recording? And also share some logs if possible and which version do you run? Latest dev? Or v0.7.7?

And does loggin in with a backup code works?

Sure can! Sorry for the delay, been traveling for the past day or so. See the attachment below for the recording.

Version: 0.7.7. Logs are attached below. There are mentions of '[MCP][filesystem] Connection state: error' not sure if it's related but again without 2fa any user can log in without issue. Logs are attached below.
