[Bug]: Default preset is unset when page is reloaded

What happened?

I've noticed recently my default preset is being unset when the page is reloaded. Starting a new conversation properly applies the preset, but if the page is reloaded before any messages are sent it disappears and must be selected again manually. This only started happening recently. I'm using v0.7.8.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a new preset
2. Set the preset as default
3. Start a new conversation, but don't send any messages
4. See that the preset was set
5. Refresh the page
6. See that the preset is no longer applied
