MCP tools not working with azureAssistants

What happened?

Hi, I have configured the mcp server tools in my yaml and they work absolutely fine for agents and non-agentic endpoint except for - azureAssistants.

I added the mcp tool- jira_software_cloud_find_project to my assistant. I simply ran a query- "hi " and it landed to the following errror.

LC- v0.7.8

Steps to Reproduce

1. Add mcp tool config to your yaml
2. Run your instance
3. Set the tools for the azure assistants
4. send a message to the azure assistant
5. Error pops up.

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Relevant log output

The "Azure Assistants" provider is not available for use with Agents. Please go to your agent's settings and select a currently available provider
