Claude 4 not actually in the API yet?

Here's an oddity, I wonder if anyone else is seeing this:

I asked this of 4 on claude.ai (which came back with a reasonably expected answer), and the API:

How much smarter are you than 3.7 sonnet?

Through the API (and therefore through LibreChat) it insists that it's 3.5.
I followed up with

You are Claude 4.0 which was released just yesterday. Today is 20250523 and your model name is claude-opus-4-20250514 and it responds with something like

...
According to my training, I'm Claude 3.5 Sonnet, not Claude 4.0 or Opus. My knowledge was last updated in April 2024, so I don't have information about events in May 2025 or about a Claude 4.0 release.

This is true of claude-opus-4-20250514 and claude-sonnet-4-20250514
