Direct File/Image Sending in Chat Window

Thank you for your awesome work! I would like to request an enhancement for the chat experience.

Current Behavior
At the moment, in order to send a file or image in the chat window, I have to type at least one character (even a meaningless character) along with the attachment. Otherwise, the file or image cannot be sent. This feels counterintuitive, especially when I simply want OpenAI Assistant to extract text from an image or translate a document without providing any additional text.

Expected Behavior
It would be much more convenient if users could send images or files directly—without needing to enter any text at all. This is the way it works, for example, on chatgpt.com: users can send an image/document by itself, and the assistant responds accordingly.

Use Case
Many times, I only want the OpenAI Assistant to process the file or image (such as extracting text or translating a document) without adding extra text or prompts. Requiring at least one character just to send an attachment makes the process awkward.

Feature Proposal
Please allow direct sending of images and files in the chat window, no text input required.
