How can I disable some of the Agents upload options?

Hello,

The docs says the following:

Agents support four distinct file upload categories:

Image Upload: For visual content processing
File Search Upload: Documents for RAG capabilities
Code Interpreter Upload: Files for code processing
File Context (OCR): Documents processed with OCR and added to the agent’s instructions

I don't want to present all options to my users - e.g have only Image and file Search? how to do that?

Also in the UI they are named:

Upload Image
Upload as Text
Upload for File Search
Upload for Code Interpreter

which is which? What is Upload as Text?

You can disable individual agent capabilities, which by proxy disable those upload options.

A very quick and sensical question :) How can I change the label of the Upload for File Search to something more streamline like "Upload File" ?

I could see in the translation file this " "com_ui_upload_file_search": "Upload for File Search","

but modifying this text as it do not update the text in the UI.

I just wanted to second changing the language for uploads to make it clearer to users. Users aren't able to distinguish "Upload for File Search" from "Upload as Text". It's not clear that one involves OCR and the other doesn't.

I would suggest the following changes:

• Change "Upload for File Search" to "Upload File"
• Change "Upload as Text" to "Upload for OCR" or "Upload as OCR Text"
