Issue with Chat Box Freezing After Deepseek Error in LibreChat

I already asked this on Discord, but I thought I’d try here as well in case it’s an unknown bug or there’s some kind of troubleshooting tip I missed.

Hello,

I recently added the Deepseek model to my LibreChat deployment. However, I noticed that when an error occurs—such as a communication issue or a token limit being exceeded—the chat input box and send button become disabled. The only way to recover is to refresh the entire page.

Is this a known issue or a reported bug?

1. Switch the message branch (the "<" and ">" arrows under your message)
2. or use the regenerate button under the error message
3. you can also edit your original message, and resubmit
