[Enhancement]: Ability to pass multimedia data between tools

What features would you like to see added?

I want to be able to pass multimedia data - for example flux images - to other tools within agentic setup. Right now model have no knowledge of internal image link to pass it further and I have to copy image path, paste it explicitly into chat for it to proceed further.

Claude response regarding this issue:

The image I generated using Flux is displayed in your interface, but I don't have direct access to a URL for that generated image that I can use with upload function. The upload-file function requires a web URL to import from.

For subsequent messages, you can manually attach the resulting image from the "Attach FIles" panel on the right hand side nav. Maybe a button on the image to make this easier would be best.

Also, the resulting image is sent to the LLM immediately after generation:

I obviously agree that this is a small annoyance and can be worked out by providing url explicitly. My concern is that it disrupts communication flow and might be quite puzzling for non-technical users, since the picture is there, but why model can't send it? I also haven't try sending binary/base64 image with Claude, not sure if such case is supported.

It feels like this could be solved already with a fileserver MCP: Have the generator save the file, then pass the path to the next agent. Have you tried something like that yet?

No, not really - I'll check if I have time. I also not sure how it suppose to work - right now I got the answer from flux, got it rendered in ui, and file already saved on the librechat server - just claude has no notion about it since it handled by the app itself. So since claude has no image data, I'm not sure how fileserver mcp will help.

I don't have access to the binary data or a direct URL for the generated image.
The Flux tool generates and displays the image directly in the interface, but I don't receive:

- Binary image data
- A downloadable URL
- File path or storage location
- Any technical metadata about the image

Yes that sounds like it won't work. My thought was at worst Claude can use the MCP to read the file since the path will be in the chat.
