I have not tried the above, but you can try (in a few days after I squash some minor remaining bugs and finalize documentation) try MCP server that allows for creations of various types of Ms Office documents. The upside is that you can provide your own template, co the presentation can be created on e.g. your company slides or Ms Word will use your company predefined styles. On the other hand, at this point it does not have the option to modify existing files, at least until I can pass a file thought LibrChat to MCP. |

So I followed the documentation and tried to get this MCP running
https://smithery.ai/server/@GongRzhe/Office-PowerPoint-MCP-Server
However I had trouble running it initially (because it requires uvx), after I got it running in a seperate container I keep getting the error:
Something went wrong. Here's the specific error message we encountered: An error occurred while processing the request: 400 Invalid 'tools[1].function.name': string too long. Expected a string with maximum length 64, but got a string with length 66 instead.
Has anybody managed to run a PPT MCP successfully?
