Get Powerpoint MCP running

So I followed the documentation and tried to get this MCP running

However I had trouble running it initially (because it requires uvx), after I got it running in a seperate container I keep getting the error:
Something went wrong. Here's the specific error message we encountered: An error occurred while processing the request: 400 Invalid 'tools[1].function.name': string too long. Expected a string with maximum length 64, but got a string with length 66 instead.

Has anybody managed to run a PPT MCP successfully?

I have not tried the above, but you can try (in a few days after I squash some minor remaining bugs and finalize documentation) try MCP server that allows for creations of various types of Ms Office documents.

The upside is that you can provide your own template, co the presentation can be created on e.g. your company slides or Ms Word will use your company predefined styles.

On the other hand, at this point it does not have the option to modify existing files, at least until I can pass a file thought LibrChat to MCP.

thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a try.
I started building my own MCP. My idea is to mount the network folder and just pass the filepath, because I did not manage to put a file (other than an image) into librechat either.

Unfortunately, this would not be viable for our company with mostly non-technical users;)

well my users are not technical either, but my idea is this:
I set up a dedicated folder where everybody has access to, people can then put their file there and in librechat they just enter the filename.
The output will then also be written back to this folder
