Cannot upload arbitrary text files

What happened?

I am trying to upload a text/x-go file (a text file with the .go file extension) but it is saying that is an unsupported file type. I have set this in my configuration:

When renaming the file to code.txt it tries to contact the Mistral OCR API even though this is literally a plain text file. Shouldn't it just get injected right into the context?

"Upload as Text" option only currently works with OCR configured. We are changing this soon, see: #9224 (comment)

So it OCR's the text file?
