GPT-5 and Gemini 2.5 don't appear in model selector

Newer models like GPT-5 and Gemini 2.5 don't show up in my the model selector of my installation.

All I can see is the list defined in https://github.com/danny-avila/LibreChat/blob/main/packages/data-provider/src/config.ts

What am I missing, how do I get access to those models?

Edit:
I figured out that I can manually add the models with the OPENAI_MODELS env variable, but i'm guessing this isn't the normal workflow?

thats precisely the workflow. configure your env. env example is not always the latest models
