Currently Colin Friend has worked on a Mac OSX port.

I'll try and get him on here and post his code and documentation.

Hey Danoli, did the Mac port ever get completed? I'm actually just trying to get the standard Skeleton code from the book compiling on 10.8 with wxwidgets 2.9.4 and have a tough time of it...

Hey @Niflhel, yeah Colin Friend @dragoonreas did get it working.

I don't think he has pushed his documentation / working xcode project yet though.
I'll see if he can.
