Virtual Camera Issues

If you require a virtual camera to use the tool, you should be aware of the following issues:

OBS:

• The built-in virtual camera does not work with OpenCV (the tool uses OpenCV).
  • Built-in virtual camera does not work with OpenCV obsproject/obs-studio#3635
  • DirectShow: VideoCapture returns blank frames for OBS Virtual Camera on Windows opencv/opencv#19746
• The alternative to the builtin virtual camera is to use one of the available plugins:
  • For OBS < 28: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-virtualcam.949/
  • For OBS >= 28: https://github.com/Avasam/obs-virtual-cam/releases

Streamlabs:

• The builtin virtual camera no longer works on recent releases.
  • The only workaround seems to be downgrading your Streamlabs to an older version
    • Haven't checked the exact version this stopped working on, but I know 1.11.2 works.
  • I haven't done too much research, but as far as I can tell this is because up until recently, the virtual camera could not be updated, which means we were using an older version for a while
    • The streamlabs virtual camera seems to be a fork of the OBS virtual camera plugin (the one we use for OBS < 28). Perhaps the update broke it because Streamlabs itself is now also using OBS 28+ underneath, idk.

Cool project, glad my fork can help. To anyone else landing on this issue, please go upvote the issues linked above! It won't be a priority to fix until they see it affects a lot of people.
