It means that the analyzer tracks what were the inputs to each analysis result, so it only needs to recompute when an input changed instead of when any transitive dependency changes.

That means small changes can be re-analyzed much faster.

At the least, it should allow using the analyzer 9.0.0, which is currently not allowed.

Because build_runner >=2.10.0 depends on analyzer ^8.0.0 and [my_project] depends on analyzer ^9.0.0, build_runner >=2.10.0 is forbidden.
So, because [my_project] depends on build_runner 2.10.3, version solving failed.
Failed to update packages.
