Develop activities that follow from file naming / organization slides

The slides for file naming and organization are great, but participants wanted to see some live demos / have hands-on activities. Let's translate some of the material in the slides to other non-lecture formats.

I will work on some of this, especially w/r/t file naming. Getting info out of slides and into a more lesson-oriented format, meaning both of these things:

• In Markdown, not Keynote/PDF/whatever, for more flexible usage
• With more accompanying exercises

Hi all, yes to this. I added a suggested one, where you add to the "share your nightmares" that is a "share how you solved" or are planning to solve. Another I notice is that the file-organization slides assume you know how to change write permissions on data files. One might want to 1) check the assumption, and 2) demo this or 3) if you have your environment set up, have a participant volunteer come up and change the permissions (or move files around, or rename them, or whatever).
