State of the repository

Just a quick question on what is the current state of this repository? Contributions have slowed down since the donation, and I don't have write permissions so I'm not able to push code or merge PRs. Is there going to be a workflow change considering the proposed donation, is there still interest in having contributions to this repository, etc.

Hi, it's definitely a mistake that you haven't been added as a committer to this project. I'm fixing it now.

The upstream has refused to accept this project as it is and is forcing us to split it into PRs to contribute upstream one by one, which will result in unnecessary work. Therefore, I (personaly) am not pursuing this direction for now.
