Is this my configuration issue or a bug? The installation is pretty straightforward and I don't think I have made any mistakes in the process. Thanks.

looks like your install is corrupt somehow and the internal commands are not available. i'd try closing and reopening powershell and if that does not work, reinstall dbatools
