-show combi -combi-modes="drun" maybe not considering $XDG_DATA_DIRS

echo $XDG_DATA_DIRS # all filne, my ~/.local/share/applications and flatpak all here

rufi -show drun # all fine, my $XDG_DATA_DIRS (local, flatpak) are shown

rufi -show combi -combi-modes="drun" -modes combi # my local/flatpak folders are not shown

i am in fedora 42, hyprland). i have detected this behavior on fedora's wayland 1.7.9 build, but then I had built myself 2.0.0 from here and the same behavior maintains

I don't know what rufi is, and -combi-modes="drun" is not valid syntax for rofi.

There is only one drun, independent if you use combi mode or not.
So if rofi -show drun works, then rofi -show combi -combi-modes drun -modes drun should also work.

If rofi does work from the commandline, but not a keybinding, check the environment your keybinding program passes to rofi when launching.
