"run" mode shows non-executable files.

Description

The run mode displays non-executable files in PATH directories. For example, with IntelliJ IDEA's standard Linux installation, searching "idea" shows:

• idea (executable)
• idea.png (not executable)
• idea.properties (not executable)
• idea.sh (executable)
• idea.svg (not executable)
• idea64.vmoptions (not executable)

In contrast, dmenu correctly shows only the executable files.

dmenu is a display tool, it does not scan or look at $PATH.

Checking executable bit for all entries slows things down.
There should not be non-executables in $PATH/bin directories.

Well, for anyone else hitting this "issue", as a workaround you can use dmenu_path (from the dmenu package) which correctly filters by executable permission, e.g:

rofi -modi "drun,run:dmenu_path" -show drun -show-icons
