This project has garnered unexpected attention. I guess there's something about the way I constructed it that resonates! Either way, lots of people have expressed interest and suggestions. Unfortunately I do not have time to tackle this myself, but I would like to find someone to delegate to, who can take full ownership of developing this project further.

Remember, this is primarily for scientific interest, more of a proof of concept rather than a commercial project. Still, I think there's a lot of potential to greatly raise the floor in terms of medical care for underserved communities around the world.

This is my attempt at a virtual nurse assistant/medical professional assistant NOVA. Basic sql database structure with conversation summary function for long term memory based on user. Hanvt worked on this for a while but will eventually use cognitive search for data retrieval. Check it out. Setup is pretty simple just need to use your own keys for Google speech synthesis and OpenAI keys

Hello,

I am a medical student at an American osteopathic medical school. I am a fan of your work and am eager to get involved in getting this project into a formalized, clinical testing environment.

I have experience setting up IRB proposals for non-medical device software tools. Attached, is a draft for assessing the AI tool's diagnostic accuracy compared to the "traditional" methodology, i.e. physicians.

If there's consensus to go in a different direction, i.e. different endpoints, then I'm happy to adjust as needed. Also, if IRB submission for a clinical trial isn't the agreed upon direction, then I am all ears and willing to contribute otherwise.

Hello David,

I am Artin, a researcher from Gothenburg University in Sweden, leading a newly formed research group focused on the application of GPT-based technologies in Primary Care. Our multidisciplinary group comprises medical professionals, tech experts, and academic researchers, united in our aim to evaluate and integrate AI technologies to enhance patient care and streamline operational workflows within Primary Care settings.

We have developed a platform named Healthchat.se, utilizing our version of ChatGPT (GPT-3.5) to compare performance and understand how AI technologies can leverage external resources like Medscape. Currently, we are in the process of validating self-correction systems, evaluating medical safety in responses from ChatGPT, and planning a qualitative study to gauge the experiences of patients and healthcare staff with ChatGPT and similar systems.

One of our upcoming projects involves a comparative study to assess the medical quality between ChatGPT and human doctors, with and without internet access, in responding to primary care consultations. Your project on Medical AI, particularly the medical intake bot, aligns significantly with our research objectives. We believe a collaborative effort could be mutually beneficial and contribute significantly to the scientific community.

We are keen to explore a partnership to evaluate your "best version" of the medical intake chatbot against a group of human primary care doctors under varying conditions. By joining forces, we aim to rigorously test and validate the medical AI through real-world, practical examinations, thereby advancing the understanding and safe implementation of AI in Primary Care.
