gnome gmail on Ubuntu 14.04

on ubuntu 14.04 i get a failure error when trying to update to 2.5-2 using ppa and downloading .deb it just says "package failure"

I'd suggest reverting to a version that works for you, and dropping the gnome-gmail repository from sources.
