aliexpress.com: FAQ -> Add "How do I remove my Alipay account?"

When I've been asking the Aliexpress Chat Support the question "How do I remove my Alipay account?" they use to answer that it is not possible.

In my last conversation with the support I was learned something different, I was told that the Alipay account in fact can be removed by simply removing the connected Aliexpress account.

Question: How do I remove my Alipay account?
Answer: Remove your Aliexpress account if you want to remove your Alipay account. You cannot remove your Alipay account alone.
