Fill in field using highlighted text (or at least have shortcut similar to find command)

Maybe I'm doing this wrong, but the quick filter field doesn't seem to work the same as search/replace. In the latter, I can use super+e to fill in the field with the highlighted text. It'd be nice if this could do that too.

I wasn't aware of this feature. Let me see what I can do.
