This logging behaviour is not helpful. It is flooding by printing every 5 seconds. It would be more useful if this was changed to DEBUG log level, but even then I wouldn't want it printing every 5 seconds, rather every minute or so.

This was my own fault. I was using Kubernetes readiness probes with an aggressive 5s timer for httpGet /. I changed it to tcpSocket and the log noise is gone.
